So, it's been a while since I last posted. There hasn't been much Batman/Wonder Woman happening lately. But there has been some.
From Batman #687, Superman and Wonder Woman meet up with Alfred after Batman's death.
From Wonder Woman: Blackest Night, we see her list Bruce among the dead she regrets. (Ironically, he's actually the only one still dead.)
And from Batman: The Widening Gyre, when Bruce informs Arthur he has a girlfriend (Silver St. Stone for inquiring minds), Arthur wonders if the girlfriend is Diana. (Presumably because that's the only girl he's ever seen him with, but whatever.)
And, no, I have no idea what's with Bruce's face there. It appears to be melting.

Featured Fan Fic
It's time again for another featured fan fic! I particularly like this one because I always like the reactions that people give Diana when Batman passes.
Redux by Alli Snow
Tagline: It's difficult adjusting to a death. Especially when it's your own.
First 2 paragraphs:
Redux
Part I
"Death resembles a prophet who is without honor in his own land or a poet who is a stranger among his people."
"... and appropriately, the service was held at night. Commissioner Gordon gave the eulogy, where he called Batman "Gotham City's greatest hero" and said that "he was a force for justice when the long arm of the law proved too short". You may recall that Gordon was often criticized for excessive reliance on the vigilante, but tonight he gave no apologies and even referred to Batman as a friend.
"The memorial was open to the public, yet few prominent citizens made an appearance. Philanthropist Bruce Wayne released a videotaped statement mourning Batman's death in... his own way, calling him a "necessary evil" and expressing assurance that the city will "remain calm in the face of this loss". However, in contrast to this position, Mr. Wayne has reportedly left Gotham for the remainder of the month.

NSFW
Should I create a more adult section for the image archive? I come across a lot of fan related images that do involve our pairing, but currently do not have a suitable place for them. Nor do I know if that is something people would want.
This Little Piggy
I know these have been out for awhile, but for those unaware...
I've got one on the way from my friend Debbie and I've got a spot saved on my desk just for these two.

Featured Fan Fic
This fic is one of my favorites and it's also one that attributed to my love of this pairing.
In Darkest Light
by Meljean Brook
Rated R (Language/sexual situations/some mild violence.)
A strange encounter with Batman leads Wonder Woman on a darker journey than which she is familiar. JLA Comic-verse.

Assorted Scans
In honor of my not having posted in a while, I present the following slew of posts:
I also bring the admonition that if you haven't seen the Wonder Woman movie yet, that's probably a good thing. I facepalmed so much that a bruise almost formed on my forehead. What the movie needed, of course, was some BMWW. Sadly, Bruce Timm has yet to learn to stick with a winning thing.

Archive is moving
Again? Yes again. Sorry to inconvenience you all yet again, but an opportunity presented itself that couldn't be past up. AS you know I moved the archive from the homestead account because that was costing me. So I hosted on webs because it was free. It also lacked a lot of features. So the person running capesandtights.com offered me a place under that banner and I am happy to accept. I've already uploaded the site over there so the new address is bmwwarchive.capesandtights.com.
I'll be keeping tabs on both the webs site and the new site for the immediate future but I'll begin phasing out the webs site eventually.
Thanks for sticking with me on this.

JLA: Soul War
One of the most annoying things about the couple is that their relationship is so frequently portrayed between the lines. They don't get nearly the love they deserve. For example, Soul War has exactly one page of relations between Batman and Wonder Woman. However, I really like the page, because I believe it illustrates one of my favorite aspects of the couple, which is basically that Diana never takes Batman's crap.
